LIFENLACTATION Gift Guide for Kids

Hey Guys!! I don’t know about you but there is a certain excitement that fills the air during the holidays. So much excitement that I seem to empty my pockets into the stores without a second thought. This year I am attempting to scale down our holidays and buy the practical gifts that I love. I have compiled a list of some of my favorite toys for the kiddos. So come take a peak and hopefully some of them will become your favorites too!

  1. First on the list is the little climber from Lily and River. Modeled after the Montessori style pickler triangle, the little climber is great for kids aged 12 months - 6 years old. Its the perfect group gift if you have kiddos of varying ages. The little climber is great for fostering kids motor abilities, confidence, and creativity. If you’re short on space the little climber folds compactly too!

  2. Another great gift for kids of varying ages is the Nugget Comfort. We are in the market for our second because we absolutely love this gem! The nugget has given my kiddos hours of playtime, their imagination is endless when playing with the Nugget. The couch comes in an array of different colors to suite your decor preferences and also folds in half to save on space. When we aren’t using ours, it doubles as additional seating in the playroom.

  3. I first learned of the Healthy roots doll a few months ago and I am obsessed. Her name is Zoe and she is the absolute cutest! Zoe helps little girls love their curls. She’s 18 in, has a soft body, and style-able hair. Your child will love to carry her with them wherever they go!

  4. The Loog guitar is the perfect little guitar for kids who rock! It comes with classical nylon strings and is approved by educators. It even comes with an android/iPhone app + flashcards with chord diagrams.

  5. For them STEM loving child I introduce you to the Kiwi co crates subscription box. With Kiwi co you can find a crate thats perfect for any kids aged 0 months to 14+ years. There’s something for everyone! I especially love these crates for the younger kiddos because it can be a fun guided activity for parents to do with their kids. I don’t know about you, but I struggle sometimes finding educational activities for my kids. Kiwi co removes all of the guess work.

  6. Does your kiddo love slime? Looking for a stocking stuffer? Try Lilly Frilly Cupcake slime! Slime is essentially banned in our house but this stuff was so cute I couldn’t pass it up. This slime is great for kids ages 5 and up. It comes with two colors that can be mixed, a buttery consistency, and charms that make for a fun surprise. Plus, the owner is 6 years old! I mean come on… cuteness overload!

  7. For the builder babe Magna Tiles are the ultimate gift!. These tiles are magnetic, hence the name, and make for hours of building fun. Their creativity can really soar with this gift. This gift is best for kids aged 3 and up as the included magnets are small and can present a choking hazard.

  8. If you’re like me and hate slime, then you might like Kinetic Sand. It’s really cool stuff. You can build things like you would with the sand at the beach but its moveable and has kinetic energy. We love this stuff. The best part is that clean up is a breeze. I just vacuum the fly aways and voila my house isn’t a sandy mess. Much easier clean up than a day at the beach!

  9. I am a sucker for toys that teach kids about self-love, affirmations, and meditations, and conflict resolution. Slumberkins is all of this and so much more! Great for kids of any age, these plush stuffies are the perfect companions for your little one. The gift sets come with a book that teach kids different life lessons, giving them the tools they need to navigate life in age appropriate ways. We currently have a hammerhead shark (for conflict resolution), An otter for familial changes, and a jelly fish because I needed the baby to stop pulling my hair lol. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with these cute little guys, and they make great stocking stuffers!

  10. To end off our list I have these awesome puzzles and memory games! We enjoy taking time as a family to do puzzles and these are just so cute! I love the graphics, I also love that they’re easier. So minimal frustration between myself and the little ones. Just pure fun. When we’re done putting the puzzle together we play I spy, it’s like two games in one!

Hope you found something useful from this list! Comment below your favorite and if you plan on grabbing anything for your kiddo! See you soon!
